Waitrose, Chipping Sodbury
The new Waitrose store at Chipping Sodbury forms part of a wider mixed-use development within a disused quarry and this phase of work also included the construction of a new pedestrian bridge over the River Frome, an equipped play area as well as the formation of a pedestrian link to the High Street.
The Waitrose building is finished in local stone and Accoya timber cladding and has been sensitively designed to complement its Conservation Area context.
