Mountford Pigott was appointed from inception to design and deliver a significant town centre regeneration project for Weston-super-Mare which has been delivered in phases. The hybrid planning consent comprised thee principal phases of development which have subsequently been built out. Delivered via design-and-build Mountford Pigott was novated to the contractor for each phase of development.

Phase 1 comprised a 112-bedroom hotel for Premier Inn over restaurant units in a 5-storey block facing the beach. Phase 2 was for a new multi-storey car park and Phase 3 of this mixed-use scheme comprises an 8-screen, new generation cinema along with 11 restaurant and retail units, a fitness centre and an indoor climbing centre all set in new public realm with a new landscaped mall, courtyard and covered outdoor seating.
