Project description

Mountford Pigott was appointed to lead the design team for the redevelopment of this significant town centre site in Ipswich. The site spans between two of the principal bridges across the River Orwell and is ideally located for commuters, a short walk away from Ipswich train station with a long stretch of river frontage.

The scheme has evolved with changing stakeholder aspirations to incorporate a major new riverside walk and bridge link, extensive public realm as well as 173 new houses and commercial space. Our service included extensive stakeholder consultation as well as design development in collaboration with stakeholders.
