The Role:
We’re looking for a post-Part II student to join our team to assist with the wide variety of projects that we are currently working on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and amend planning stage 3-d models using Sketchup and Enscape
- Prepare feasibility study & planning application drawings using 2D autoCAD
- Prepare Design and Access Statements using Adobe InDesign
- Prepare and amend schedules
- Prepare and amend legal drawings, tender and construction drawings under the direction of the project runner
- Prepare and amend visualisations or photomontage CGIs for marketing and presentations
- Attend meetings and site visits with project runners
Requirements:
- ARB Part II exemption and a minimum of 1 year UK work experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficiency in Revit would be beneficial but not required
- Basic knowledge of UK planning regulatory framework and Building Regulations
- Excellent presentation skills
- Good oral and written communication skills

Revit- able Technician.
We are seeking to recruit a technician with Revit experience for a full-time position at our New Malden office to work on our growing portfolio of industrial, leisure and residential projects. Technicians, Technologists and architects with delivery stage technical knowledge and UK construction project experience, Revit skills and experience of collaborative working in a BIM environment are invited to apply. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants the challenge and satisfaction of working on larger and more complex projects within a supportive team environment with potential role development to becoming a project runner. The successful applicant will have at least 3 years’ experience of UK construction projects and will be fully conversant with Revit. Salary will be commensurate with the applicant’s qualifications and experience.

Delivery Stage Architect
We are looking to recruit a project architect with experience of running projects during the delivery stages. The successful candidate will have wide ranging technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and site experience. In particular, experience steel frame industrial / storage buildings would be an advantage. You will be involved with the project delivery stages including tender, design for construction, third party design coordination, specification writing, site inspection, quality report writing and hand-over services upon completion. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants the challenge and satisfaction of being responsible for the delivery of a new building within a supportive team environment. This is a client-facing role where your communication skills will constantly be put to use. The goal is to deliver a first class service to our contractor clients and to our commissioning clients to produce sustainable, functional and aesthetically pleasing buildings on programme and budget. It is essential that the successful candidate is a self-starter, capable of working independently.
Responsibilities
- Leading the post-planning stages of construction documentation production and operations on site
- Acting as the Building Regs Principal Designer on projects where you are design lead
- Chairing project team meetings and prepare reports on behalf of MPLLP
- Liaising with third parties including the client, contractor, consultants and design sub-contractor on behalf of MPLLP
- Inspecting projects during construction
Skills and Experience
- ARB qualified architect or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant UK post-qualification experience
- Proficient AutoCAD or Revit user, Revit preferred
- Working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction standards
- CSCS accreditation or equivalent Health & Safety qualification
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
