Stratford-upon-Avon town centre redevelopment approved
Posted 9 June 2020 by Ian Robinson

Stratford-on-Avon Council have granted approval for the redevelopment of the Debenhams department store in the centre of the town.
The first phase will be an 80 bed hotel over a ground floor of retail & leisure units, with a further phase of 12 apartments over retail units to follow shortly. The scheme features sensitively designed facades to the High Street and Wood Street, and a new high quality approach along Taskers Way into our highly successful Bell Court scheme that anchors the Town Centre.
Planning was complex given the sensitivities of designing in a historic centre, being in a conservation area with part of the site occupied by listed buildings.
